Parents and Students,

Thank you for “hanging in there” with us as we proceed towards the start of the 2020-2021 School Year.

This Friday, August 14, is our Super Hybrid Friday introductory schedule run through.  There are several links to important information below:

·         The first is the Hybrid Grouping for this Friday.  Please understand that we needed a starting point, so I am requesting that we follow this hybrid grouping for Friday, August 14.  Please email me with your concerns and/or requests and I will strive to accommodate the groupings as much as possible. I will then send a revised Hybrid grouping on Monday, August 17, which will hopefully address your requests.

Remember, the hybrid model will be temporary as we strive to return to a full student, in person, five day school week as soon as possible.

  • The second attachment is the drop off/entry point for each individual grade level.  The purpose for this plan is to limit the number of students entering through any specific doorway.  The doorway they enter will also be the one closest to their lockers.  They will have their temperature taken as they enter the building. THIS IS ONE AREA WHERE WE COULD DEFINITELY USE SOME PARENT VOLUNTEERS.  If a freshman or sophomore is being driven to school by a junior or senior we would ask that the driver please drop the freshman or sophomore at their designated entry location and then proceed to their parking space.
  •  The third attachment is the Bell Schedule for August 14 as well as the Standard Bell Schedule that will be followed Monday – Thursday.
  •  The fourth attachment is the Summer School Dress Code that will be in place through at least Labor Day.

Some additional considerations:  Bring your own water bottle and water.  Please do not linger in the parking lot before or after school, and please observe social distancing at all times while on school property.

Mrs. Cummings, our director of Admissions, will be sending a separate communication to both our entering freshmen and our transfer students.

As always, thank you for your patience and understanding; also please know that we welcome your comments, questions and suggestions.
