Thank you for rowing with us; I have never seen a time in history that held so many "firsts." In our continual journey to adapt and adjust, I believe that we have arrived at the point where we feel that our two hybrid groups are adjusted in a manner that will:
-- Provide the best opportunity to ensure the health and well-being of students, staff, and families;
-- Provide the best opportunity for a continued experience of in-person education and socialization opportunities;
-- Set the stage, as well as possible, for a return to full-time in-person education at St. Mary's High School.
Group A will be alphabetical A - Kellick.... Mondays & Wednesdays in person. (7:40 am - 3:05 pm)
Group B will be alphabetical Kelly - Z .... Tuesdays & Thursdays in person. (7:40 am - 3:05 pm)
We have received and acted upon requests regarding Hybrid Grouping; hopefully, the arrangement of the two groups has addressed the concerns and requests received. Lockers will now be assigned by Hybrid Groups with Group A and Group B alternating.... hopefully providing a bit more social distancing.
As a reminder:
Masks are required for everyone while inside any St. Mary's building. Please follow the drop-off procedures practiced on August 14 until further notice. Also, we are asking that students please not arrive at school any earlier than 7:20 am..... again, this is a safety precaution to help address congregating in groups. ALSO, parents please do not leave the area until your student's temperature is verified.
After check-in and going to their lockers, we are asking students to report immediately to their first period classroom.
Please make every effort to pick up your student as soon as possible after dismissal for the same reasons as stated above.
Students who drive themselves will also be asked to leave campus ASAP after school ends for the day.
