St. Mary's Families,
A relatively short but important e-mail today. Read on...
Everything we do at St. Mary's begins with prayer.
Please pray with us:
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother.
To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions,
but in thy mercy, hear and answer me.
- PARENT SURVEY. Parents! Please give us 5-10 minutes of your time. As we wrote earlier this week, we are planning on making changes to our schedule and remote instruction flow. WE NEED YOUR FEEDBACK. Please complete the survey THIS WEEKEND. There is plenty of free response space for you to give us specific feedback. We will analyze the information on Monday and that constructive feedback will inform our decision-making process. CLICK HERE FOR PARENT SURVEY
- SCHEDULE CHANGES. Earlier this week I told you we would be making changes to our A & B Groups by this Wednesday. We are going to hit pause on that until the TUESDAY AFTER LABOR DAY before making any moves so we can digest the feedback from the survey that parents are going to do THIS WEEKEND (thank you!).
- GOLF TOURNAMENT. Friday, September 18, Kissing Camels. Last year we had 120 golfers registered for the tournament and it was a great day. With three weeks to go before this year's tournament we already have 124 registered. We asked the golf course to increase our limit on registrations to 144. If you're good at math, you know that means we only have 20 spots left. Remember, this is outdoors (obviously) and socially distanced (also obviously). A safe and fun event in a time where we need both safety and fun. If you want to golf and you haven't registered, CLICK HERE TO REGISTER or contact our Events Director Raquel Krasovec: firstname.lastname@example.org
- SPORTS. A round of applause to our boys golf team and our boys & girls cross country team for carrying the Pirate flag for athletics right now. As we told you a while back, all other sports are on hold until January. Once January is here, there will be three abbreviated sports seasons (winter, then the rest of the fall sports, then the spring sport season). Our student athletes continue to compete during challenging times.
