Good morning, Pirates. Today is Tuesday , Sept. 1. 

  • Freshman: Senate election packets are due back to Mr. Champion this  today in Room 200

  • By now, every student should have received a SMHS planner. If you DID NOT receive one in Theology class, please request a planner from Ms. Candy at the Front Office.

  • Information for the theater fall season is in Ms. Jenkin’s room. Interested students need to sign up and video auditions are due Sept. 7. 

  • We are having an all school Community Day at The Grace Center this Friday, Sept 4, from 8 am to 11 am. Student dropped off will begin at 7:45 am and parents should return by 11 am to pick you up! When you arrive check in with your first period teacher. There will be Mass, a pep rally, class meetings, and some field day fun. Signup sheets for the Spikeball Tournament are on the Senate office door in freshman quad (old Dean’s office). The list is for both cohorts so options for all.

  • The Kona Ice Truck will be at the Community Day. Shaved ice costs between $4 and $6. Please bring exact change or small bills.

  •  Every student received access to Infinite Campus this week. When you login the first time, please use SMALL LETTERS in your password. Capital letters will give you an error message. You are required to change your password when you first login. If you have problems getting into Infinite Campus, please contact Mrs. Cichon.

  • SPORTS:

    The boys cross country team, led by Dylan Brush, took second place in the Peyton Small Schools Cross Country meet on Saturday.  The other boys who ran were Jackson Neppl, Lyndon Gotelaere, Jacob Limb, and Alex Bodnar.  The girls team was paced by Cameron Ritcher, Emerald Cordova, and Alicia Domingo. 

    The boys golf team finished first of 17 teams at the Cheyenne Mountain Golf Tournament with 237 points.

    Peter Stinar finished fifth with a score of 78, RJ Davis finished eighth with a 79, Luke Calvin 15th with 80, and Daniel Stinar shot a 97 to finish 53rd.
