School UPDATES: Tuesday, Nov. 3

St. Mary's Families,

This morning we pivoted the entire school to 100% remote instruction due to notification that we had a positive COVID test for a member of our community. That gave us time to make the required notifications to the El Paso County Health Department and to run the contact tracing process.

Those that met the current "close contact" exposure threshold have been informed and have been asked to quarantine.

Due to the number of our teachers and staff that are recommended for quarantine under current county guidelines, the entire school will need to remain in remote instruction for the full duration of the quarantine period, which extends through Monday, Nov. 16.

Information will follow shortly on guidance for students who may need to enter the school to pick up books or other class materials.

As it stands today, we will resume in-person instruction on Tuesday, Nov. 17, as long as local conditions permit it.

Thank you for your prayers, patience and support during these interesting times. RTB!
