Rob Rysavy

Deacon Rob Rysavy, President

Deacon Rob Rysavy is a South Dakota native.  After 12 years in Catholic school there, he graduated from the US Air Force Academy in 1990.  During his 24-year Air Force career, he was stationed in Florida, Oklahoma, Colorado (multiple times), and California, retiring in 2014 as a colonel. 

Prior to coming to St. Mary's, he was the president of the Vitae Foundation, a pro-life research and marketing non-profit.  He was ordained a permanent deacon in 2020. 

He and Michelle are the parents of St. Mary's Pirates Alexandra '10, Robert '12, Mark '20, Elizabeth '22, Mary '24, and future Pirate Katharine '30.

Joe Trechter

Joe Trechter, Director of Development

Joe Trechter graduated from the honors program at Loyola Marymount University, where he majored in computer science and minored in math. He holds master’s degrees in international relations from Troy University and computer and intelligence systems from the Air Force Institute of Technology. 

He was a communications and cyberspace operations officer in the US Air Force and finished his Air Force career teaching math at the Air Force Academy Prep School.  Joe has been a licensed math teacher and taught social studies for a year at St. Mary’s (2015-2016) before assuming his current role as director of Development in the summer of 2016. 

Joe and his wife, Lori, are proud parents of six children including two graduates of St. Mary’s, three current students, and a future Pirate. Joe and Lori are involved with marriage ministry, teaching natural family planning, and shuttling kids everywhere they need to be (…most of the time).  A huge highlight for their family was their 14-month trip around the United States after Joe retired from the Air Force.

Ramon Falt

Ramon Falt, Director of Events

Ramon joined our St. Mary's staff in July 2021, assuming the role of director of Events. She has a bachelor of General Studies degree from Louisiana State University and an elementary education degree form UCCS.

Before coming to SMHS, Ramon taught second grade for seven years both at Corpus Christi Catholic School and St. Paul Catholic School in Colorado Springs. Prior to that she was a graphic designer at Liberty Media Group/Starz Entertainment.

Born and raised in Louisiana, Ramon loves cooking and eating Cajun food and and traveling to see family in Louisiana. When not busy planning events for St. Mary's, she enjoys painting, decorating, gardening, spending time with her daughter and friends, hiking, teaching to those around her, and playing board games.

Kathy Jung

Kathy Jung, Accounts Payable

Kathy joined the St. Mary's staff in July 2002 as a part-time employee in the Business Office for Accounts Payable.  She was hired full time in July 2007.

Kathy had been a volunteer at the school since 2000 when her oldest son started as a freshman.  She volunteered for the Cove, helped with auctions, drove vans for sports teams, and learned to clean and repair books over the summer, which helped as she transitioned to her position in the Business Office.

Kathy and her husband, Steve, have four children who graduated from St. Mary's: Alex '04, Megan, '06, Samantha '10 & Adam '13.  They currently have five grandchildren and hope for more.

Kathy enjoys  watching movies, reading books, playing with her grandchildren, riding bikes, and taking trips to visit family.

Raquel Krasovec

Raquel Krasovec, PhD, Director of Enrollment

Raquel Krasovec assumed the lead admisisons role in 2021, after four years with St. Mary's since 2017 as first a development associate and the director of Events.

Raquel holds bachelor's, master's, and a PhD in psychology, with her bachelor's earned at CSU Pueblo and graduated degrees from the University of Rhode Island.

Prior to coming to St. Mary's, she served as an assistant professor at CSU Pueblo for four years, worked in pharmaceutical specialty sales  for three years, and served on the faculty of St. Therese Catholic School for three years.

Originally born in Denver, Raquel grew up on a farm in Pueblo, Colorado. She and her husband, Greg, have three children, including one current St. Mary's Pirate in the class of 2025.

Amy Partain

Amy G. Partain, Director of Communications/Marketing

Amy G. Partain joined the St. Mary's family in November 2011, writing stories about the school's community for the school's blog and the Colorado Catholic Herald. Over the next decade, her role with St. Mary's expanded to include the managing the school's social media accounts and website, maintaining the integrity of the school's brand, and handling most of the school's communications and marketing efforts as St. Mary's first director of Communications.

With a passion for words since childhood, Amy decided as a freshman in high school to pursue a degree in journalism. Graduating with the degree from Arkansas State University, Amy has spent the next three decade working in various facets of the communications industry. She is currently pursuing a master's of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her teen son, reading and writing fiction, consuming Korean food, traveling, and listening to her favorite music.
